 Ideal Village Lelystad The Netherlands - In 1979 Maharishi called on the Dutch sidhas to create an ideal village, so that the effect of the daily group practice of the TM-Sidhi program could be demonstrated in this 'Land of Wholeness'.
The ideal village was started in 1985 in an area which offers the most space and the cleanest environment: the new province, Flevoland. On the outskirts of Lelystad, a city of 60.000 inhabitants, the Dutch sidhas were allowed to build their own suburb, according to their own principles. The ideal village has grown steadily and it now includes 275 homes of different sizes, a beautiful dome, a junior school, a vegetarian restaurant, business- and office accommodation, a Maharishi Ayurveda clinic and much more. Purusha - The Maharishi Purusha Program is for single men practicing the TM-Sidhi® program. Every aspect of this program has been carefully designed by Maharishi. The daily routine of the PurushaSM program includes extended group practice of the TM-Sidhi program, knowledge meetings, and activity dedicated to the fulfillment of the many programs of Maharishi's worldwide movement. This is a full-time program requiring a minimum commitment of one year. All buildings are constructed using Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design. This site has photos
of the facilities. The Mother Divine program - The Mother Divine program is an advanced program for developing higher states of consciousness. The program was inaugurated in 1981 to fulfill two purposes: To allow ladies the opportunity to deepen their experiences of the Transcendental Meditation® and TM-Sidhi®programs and awaken 24-hour bliss in daily life; and to To create a large, permanent coherence-creating group that would radiate an influence of harmony and bliss to the whole world.
The three year or longer courses of the Mother Divine program are available to single women who are 18 years or older and who practice the Maharishi Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs.
