1957		Maharishi's Year of Transcendental Meditation, the Year of TranscendentalConsciousness		Maharishi evolves a simple, natural practice for the mind to come to a balanced state -- quiet wakefulness, Transcendental Consciousness -- and gain the ability to spontaneously function in accord with all the Laws of Nature. This was the year of revival of the philosophy and practice of Yoga. Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation revived Yoga for its original dignity and effectiveness. This was the year of revival of Vedic Wisdom for perfection in life.

1958		Maharishi's Year of Spiritual Regeneration Movement		Inspired to raise the quality of life in the world through the practice of Transcendental Meditation, Maharishi inaugurated the Spiritual Regeneration Movement to spiritually regenerate mankind.
1959		Maharishi's Year of Global Awakening		Maharishi starts to teach Transcendental Meditation (TM) around the world.

1960		Maharishi's Year of Cosmic Consciousness		Maharishi explain Cosmic Consciousness rising through the daily practice of Transcendental Meditation -- the influence of Transcendental Consciousness on the waking, dreaming, and sleeping states of consciousness. In London Maharishi inaugurates his "First Three-Year Plan" to spiritually regenerate the world.
1961		Maharishi's Year of Teacher Training		Maharishi's inspiration to 'multiply himself' by training teachers of Transcendental Meditation - first international course held in Rishikesh, India.
1962		Maharishi's Year of Theory of the Absolute		Maharishi brings to light the Theory of the Absolute Maharishi trains hundreds of teachers of Transcendental Meditation in different countries to bring the direct experience of the Absolute -- Transcendental Consciousness -- to people everywhere.
1963		Maharishi's Year of the Science of Being and the Art of Living		In his book, The Science of Being and Art of Living, Maharishi presents a profound and practical philosophy of living enlightenment in daily life through the practice of Transcendental Meditation.

1964		Maharishi's Year of God Consciousness		Maharishi explains experiences of Transcendental Meditation in terms of Transcendental Consciousness, Cosmic Consciousness, and the most refined state of Cosmic Consciousness - God Consciousness.
1965		Maharishi's Year of Bhagavad-Gita		Maharishi explains experiences of Transcendental Meditation in terms of the Principle of Action, Nishkama karma yoga, Yogastah kuru karmani: Established in Unity, perform action -- (Bhagavad-Gita II.48) -- and completes his commentary on the first six chapters of the Bhagavad-Gita.
1966		Maharishi's Year of Academy of Meditation		In the year of the great 'Kumba Mela' in Alahabad, Maharishi inaugurates the first International Academy of Meditation, Shankaracharya Nagar, Rishikesh, India, with the International Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course.
1967		Maharishi's Year of Unity Consciousness		Maharishi explains experiences of Transcendental Meditation in terms of Transcendental Consciousness, Cosmic Consciousness, God Consciousness, and Unity Consciousness. Maharishi inaugurates the first European Meditation Academy in Bremen, Germany.

1968		Maharishi's Year of Students		Students International Meditation Society was founded in many countries. Maharishi is filmed by the Canadian Broadcast Corporation at Lake Lousie, Alberta. Maharishi is filmed by PBS station WGBH at the Harvard Law Forum.
1969		Maharishi's Year of Supreme Knowledge		Maharishi comments extensively on the Brahma Sutras, the textbook of Vedanta, the aspect of Vedic Literature that provides complete knowledge of Unity Consciousness, the pinnacle of living total potential of human life.
